When I choose to pursue a technical writing path of employment back in 2005, it took some time to line up a position which met all my requirements. I have been successful in that pursuit until recently, perhaps due to the downturn of the economy. It doesn't warrant a complete career change, however, I've definitely started re-evaluating how I market myself and what I'm willing to do.
