Not built for a steady flow
Building round two, in bursts and breaks, from a cabin in Piteå
A year and a half ago I checked out of Aimfor for good. But my journey to somethings different really started earlier than that. My mum getting sick back in 2021 was a real wake-up call for me, and now, I think I am ready to land and create a new foundation.
But this time will look very different. Having had the privilege of not working for a year and a half, and of travelling around the world twice, I’m a very different person now, and I’m going to do things very differently this time around.

For one thing, I’m a woman! You know what that means? It means I’m a seasonal being. I have a monthly cycle. I don’t fit into the “normal” structure of society. Most of how society runs today was created by men: the 9–5, the calendar, the algorithms. It’s all built on the idea that we have a fairly consistent rhythm.
You know what? I don’t! I have days when I wake up and I’m on a high. And I have days when I wake up and just want to stay in bed.
I’m planning to do whatever comes next in a way where that’s okay. Where I’m allowed to work in sprints and then take some time off.
My life these last few years has naturally had that rhythm. I’ve spent a month in California working at a Buddhist centre, I’ve spent a month hiking in New Zealand, I’ve spent a month in the Amazon jungle, and in between I’ve landed in Piteå for a few months to work on restarting Bryohm.
That means inconsistent posting on social media, bursts of activity followed by breaks. Believe me, that is not what the algorithms like. So I’ve felt bad. Bad for not being consistent, bad for not having that steady flow. Until I realised I wasn’t built for that.
So I’m done feeling bad, and I’m done feeling inconsistent. I’m going to try doing things fully my way now. If you feel like following along, I invite you to subscribe. And if you feel like judging me for it, go ahead! Just take a moment to look at what it is that’s triggering you.
I’ll probably dip out of this a thousand times, but I’ve also learned that I come back up.
My goal is to inspire people to live happier and healthier lives, in line with their deepest desires. Whatever those are. I won’t tell you that what I’m doing is the right way, but I will tell you what I’m doing and why it works for me, and maybe something in it will inspire you.
Also: I’ve officially decided to settle down in Piteå (The amount of turmoil this is creating in my body is a post on its own). It wasn’t an easy decision (Still isn’t), but the cabin I’m in right now has always been my safe place, so I can’t think of a better place to start.
